Its goal is to uphold the highest standards in the needlearts by providing excellence in education to all those interested in furthering their embroidery skills as teachers, judges, artists, designers, authors, and technically proficient embroiderers. http://www.needleart.org National Embroidery Teachers Association (NETA) An organization open to all teachers, active or retired, and to prospective teachers of embroidery and other textile arts. The organization is designed to assist educators of the embroidery industry. http://www.embroideryteachers.org National Network of Embroidery Professionals (NNEP) Assists embroidery business owners with savings and embroidery resources. They also provide several expos during the year and around the country to help embroidery business owners. http://www.nnep.net The National NeedleArts Association (TNNA) The organization is comprised of businesses that create and market handpainted needlepoint canvases, hand-dyed and specialty crochet and knitting yarns, embroidery, needlepoint and cross-stitch, kits, embellishments, furniture, notions, gifts, books, publications, accessories, tools and more. http://www.tnna.org The Vacuum & Sewing Dealers Trade Association (VDTA/SDTA) An association dedicated to supporting independent vacuum cleaner and sewing machine retailers around the world. (EGA) A national non-profit educational organization offering study and preservation of the heritage and art of embroidery. EGA maintains an Embroidery Museum and Resource Center, located in Louisville, KY. http://www.egausa.org Home Sewing Association (HSA) A not-for-profit trade organization comprised of business members who support and promote the home sewing industry.
