Simplicity & Embroidery : Keep It Simple!

We’ve seen more than our share of tacky embroidery work, whether it’s embroidered on a hat, polo, t-shirt etc., people love to see their own 'art' on a shirt.  This is fine if you are a self proclaimed artist, but if you are a company trying to build a name for yourself, please keep this in mind.  Simple is almost always better.  If you are trying to make an impression on people, remember that their attention span is short, they need to see the image and instantly 'get' the image.

I’m sure you have seen the t-shirts with one liners on them: ex… I’m with stupid, etc.  Those are memorable because they were not intricate and complex.  I’ll pick on a restaurant that I frequent, their logo is so busy that I find myself staring at the back of their embroidered shirts trying to decipher what the logo actually is.  If you are serious about marketing your company and choose to promote your brand via embroidery, keep it simple, clear and concise.  You are far more apt to leave an impression.
